Title

An Ordinance providing for the laying off, opening, widening, extending and establishing of a public street and highway to be known as Columbian Way, from the intersection of Ninth Avenue South and Spokane Street northeasterly, easterly and southeasterly to an intersection with Fourteenth Avenue South just south of Lyons Street; thence southerly to an intersection with Fifteenth Avenue South just south of Dakota Street; thence southerly and southeasterly to an intersection with Oregon Street just east of Fifteenth Avenue South; thence southeasterly to an intersection with Beacon Avenue at a point approximately five hundred ninety-six (596) feet southerly from the south line of section sixteen (16), township twenty-four (24) north, range four (4) east, W. M.; thence northeasterly to an intersection with Empire Way at a point approximately eight hundred sixty (860) feet northerly from Alaska Street; of Alaska Street, from Empire Way to Columbian Way as established herein; of Fourteenth Avenue South, from Hanford Street to Columbian Way as established herein; providing or the condemnation, appropriation, taking and damaging of land and other property necessary for the laying off, opening, widening, extending and establishing of the above named Way, Street and Avenue; and for the changing and establishing of the grades and the grading and regrading of the above described Way, Street and Avenue and approaches thereto, in conformity with the grades established herein; and for the necessary cuts and fills upon the property abutting on said Way, Street, Avenue and approaches thereto; and providing that the entire cost of said improvement shall be paid by special assessment on the property specially benefited in the manner provided by law.
