Title

An ordinance providing for the laying off, opening, widening, extending and establishing of Rainier Avenue from Jackson Street to Thistle Street and from 51st Avenue South to the southerly boundary of the City of Seattle; and of 51st Avenue South from Thistle Street to Rainier Avenue; all in the City of Seattle, as public streets and highways; providing for the condemnation, appropriation, taking and damaging of land and other property necessary therefor; providing for the changing and establishing of curb grades of Rainier Avenue and approaches thereto from Hanford Street to Thistle Street and from 51st Avenue South to the southerly boundary of the city, and of 51st Avenue South and approaches thereto from Thistle Street to Rainier Avenue; providing for the condemnation, appropriation, taking and damaging of land and other property necessary for the grading and regrading of said avenues and approaches thereto in conformity with such established grades and necessary for the construction of slopes for cuts and fills upon the property abutting upon said avenues and approaches thereto; and providing that the cost of said improvement shall be paid by special assessment upon the property specially benefited in the manner provided by law.
