Seattle Annexation Map - Southeast Seattle
Background
Southeast Seattle was incorporated on July 2, 1906, following a merger with Hillman City and York. The city was incorporated apparently for the sole purpose of being annexed to Seattle. Annexation was approved by a vote of 221-8.
