Legislation Title:

A RESOLUTION supporting the Seattle Farm Bill Principles as policy guidance to the Federal Government in the renewal of the 2012 Farm Bill.

Summary of the Legislation:

Background: The Seattle Local Food Action Initiative was established in Resolution 31019.  As part of that Initiative, the Seattle Farm Bill Principles were developed as guidance to the federal government as it renews the Farm Bill in 2012.  Founding co-signers of the Principles include civic leaders in Seattle and Washington farmers.
