Legislation Title:  AN ORDINANCE concerning public spaces on the Central Waterfront, amending ordinance 123142 to alter the composition of the Central Waterfront Partnerships Committee.

This legislation adds four new members and replaces one existing member on the Central Waterfront Partnerships Committee to advise the City on designing, developing, and managing new public spaces on the Central Waterfront.  The ordinance broadens the membership of the Committee to include additional representation from the maritime industry, affected property owners, and advocates for Seattle parks and sustainable land use.  It also replaces the representative from the Board of Park Commissioners.

Resources for DPD, DPR and SDOT to support the Committee’s work and complete the project framework are included in the Mayor’s Proposed 2010 Budget.
