Background:

This ordinance includes only those items that the Urban Development and Planning UDP Committee recommends be considered on a shorter timeframe than certain other aspects of the Mayor’s proposed Neighborhood Business District Strategy.

Following the 2006 budget review and additional public input, the UDP committee will continue to consider additional proposals, including changes in parking requirements, street-level residential changes, and upper level bulk limits for commercial zones.
