In 1980, the Seattle City Council passed Ordinance 109560, which adopted a new codificaton of the the City's general and permanent ordinances as the Seattle Municipal Code. A supplement was published containing all the changes made to the code through the end of 1980, and another with all the code changes made through the end of 1981. The 1980 codification and the 1980 and 1981 changes for each title (if any exist) are linked below. A list was compiled of all ordinances making changes to the SMC during 1982; individual ordinances on that list (and all other referenced in these documents) can be found in our online council bill and ordinance database.
