Resolution 30633

Title

A RESOLUTION regarding a voter-proposed charter amendment changing the system of electing members of the City Council from the present at- large system to a district system; authorizing the City Clerk and the Executive Director of the Ethics and Elections Commission to take those actions necessary to enable the proposed charter amendment to appear on the November 2003 ballot; and requesting the King County Division of Records and Elections to place the proposed charter amendment on the November 2003 election ballot if, but only if, the Division of Records and Elections determines that the petition bears a sufficient number of valid signatures to qualify the proposed amendment for placement on the November 2003 ballot.
