Title

A RESOLUTION AND PROPOSITION to amend Article VIII of the City Charter to provide for a Department of Finance and a Director thereof, appointed by the Mayor, to exercise general supervision over the financial affairs of the City; establishing the position and providing for the appointment and duties of a City Auditor; abolishing the Auditing Committee and elective positions of City Comptroller and City Treasurer and providing for the performance of the functions of City Comptroller and City Clerk by such City officers as shall be designated by ordinance.
