Resolution 17680

Title

A resolution relating to the general municipal election of March 11, 1958, submitting a proposition to amend Charter Article XI to provide for a Department of Parks and Recreation and a Superintendent thereof, appointed by the Mayor, to manage and control the park a recreation system of the city under the direction of the Board of Public Works, abolishing the Board of Park Commissioners; and requiring the City Clerk to certify to the Auditor of King County as required by law said proposed amendment in the form of a specified ballot title and said amendment in full, and providing for publication thereof.
