Title

An ordinance relating to and providing for the improvement of 1st Avenue from Pike Street to Yesler Way; 1st Avenue South from Yesler Way to Jackson Street; 2nd Avenue from Pike Street to Yesler Way; 2nd Avenue South from Yesler Way top Jackson Street; Occidental Avenue from Yesler Way to Jackson Street; and 3rd Avenue South from Yesler Way to Jackson Street, by constructing a system of fire hydrants and connecting said hydrants to the water main in said portions of said streets and avenues, together with all necessary appurtenances, all in accordance with Resolution No. 138 and providing the payment therefor by the mode of 'Payment by Bond' as provided by an act of the Legislature of the State of Washington entitled "An act authorizing the issuance and sale of bonds by cities, to pay for local improvements, providing for the payment thereof, and declaring an emergency", approved March 14, 1899, and Ordinance No. 5693 of said city, approved December 6, 1899."
