An ordinance providing for the laying off, opening, widening, extending and establishing of Yesler Way,, from Prefontaine Place to 12th Avenue; of Washington Street, from 5th Avenue South to 12th Avenue South; of Main Street, between 5th Avenue South and 14th Avenue South; of 6th Avenue, from James Street to Jackson Street; of 7th Avenue, from James Street to 9th Avenue South; of 8th Avenue South, from Jackson Street to Seattle Boulevard; of 9th Avenue South, between Main Street and Jackson Street; and of a Public Street and Highway, from the intersection of Yesler Way and 9th Avenue South, southeasterly to the intersection of Jackson Street and 14th Avenue South; providing for the changing and establishing of the curb grades of Yesler Way, from Prefontaine Place to 12th Avenue; of Washington Street and of Main Street, each from 5th Avenue South to 12th Avenue South; of Jefferson Street, from 5th Avenue to 9th Avenue; of Terrace Street, between 5th Avenue and 8th Avenue; of Alder Street, Spruce Street and Fir Street, each from Yesler Way to 9th Avenue; of Plummer Street, from 7th Avenue South to 9th Avenue South; of 8th Avenue, from James Street to Yesler Way; of 6th Avenue South, from Yesler Way to Main Street; of Maynard Avenue and 7th Avenue South, each from Yesler Way to Jackson Street; of 8th Avenue South, from Yesler Way to Jackson Street; of 8th Avenue South, from Yesler to Seattle Boulevard; of 9th Avenue South and 10th Avenue South, each from Yesler Way to Jackson Street; of 11th Avenue South, from Yesler Way to Washington Street; and of a Public Street and Highway, extending from the intersection of Yesler Way and 9th Avenue South, southeasterly to the intersection of Jackson Street and 14th Avenue South; providing for the condemnation, appropriation, taking and damaging of land and other property necessary therefor, and for the making of the necessary slopes for cuts and fills upon the property abutting upon said way, streets and avenues; providing for the condemnation, appropriation , and taking of certain land and other property in fee simple for general municipal purposes; providing for the payment of cost of said improvement by special assessment or from such fund as the City Council may direct, or by both such fund and special assessment.
