Title

An ordinance relating to and providing for the improvement of East Madison Street in the City of Seattle from the east margin of 23rd Avenue to the west end of Madison Street Bridge (said point being about 20 feet east of the east margin of 29th Avenue North, as the same exists north of East Madison Street, by constructing wood curbs and gutters along lines uniformly 21 feet distant from and parallel with the center line of said street, and by planking all of that portion of the north roadway or north half of the said East Madison Street, not required to be maintained by virtue of any street railway franchise, and providing the payment therefor by the mode of 'Payment by Bond' as provided by an act of the Legislature of the State of Washington entitled "An act authorizing the issuance and sale of bonds by cities, to pay for local improvements, providing for the payment thereof, and declaring an emergency", approved March 14, 1899, and Ordinance No. 5693 of said city, approved December 6, 1899."
