Title

An ordinance providing for the laying off, opening, extending and establishing of a public street and highway from the intersection of 25th Avenue North and East Madison Street northeasterly to the intersection of 28th Avenue North and East Roy Street; of East Roy Street from 28th Avenue North to East Madison Street; and of East Madison Street from East Roy Street as extended herein to a line 50 feet west from and parallel with the west line produced south of Block 3, McGraw's Washington Park Addition to the City of Seattle as recorded in Volume 10 of plats Page 21; providing for the changing of the curb grades of said public street and highway from East Madison Street to East Roy Street; of 25th Avenue North from the public street established herein to East Harrison Street; of 26th Avenue North from East Harrison Street to East Mercer Street; of 27th Avenue North from East Mercer Street to East Roy Street; of 29th Avenue North from East Madison Street to East Valley Street; of East Mercer Street from 26th Avenue North to 27th Avenue North; and of East Roy Street from 27th Avenue North to East Madison Street; providing for the condemnation, appropriation, taking and damaging of land and other property necessary for the laying off, opening, widening, extending and establishing of the above described streets, and for the changing and establishing of the grades for the necessary slopes for cuts and fills upon the property abutting said streets and avenues; providing for the condemnation, appropriation and taking in fee simple of land and other property for general municipal purposes; and providing that the entire cost of improvement shall be paid by special assessment upon the property specially benefited, in the manner provided by law, except as herein otherwise provided.
