Title

An ordinance providing for the laying off, opening, extending and establishing of East 44th Street, East 43rd Street and East 42nd Street, each from the west boundary line of the Town of Yesler, now a portion of the City of Seattle, to Union Bay Place; providing for the changing and establishing of curb grades of East 44th Street and East 44th Street as extended herein, East 42nd Street and East 42nd Street as extended herein, each from 36th Avenue Northeast to Union Bay Place; providing for the condemnation, appropriation, taking and damaging of land and other property necessary for the laying off, opening, extending and establishing of the above described streets, and for the changing and establishing of the grades and for the grading and regrading of the above described streets, and approaches thereto in conformity with the grades established herein; providing for the necessary slopes for cuts and fills upon the property abutting on said street and approaches thereto; and providing that the entire cost of such improvement shall be paid by special assessment upon the property specially benefited, in the manner provided by law.
