Title

An ordinance providing for the payment of cost and expense of the laying off, opening, widening, extending and establishing of a public street to be known as Carleton Way, from the intersection of Twenty-eighth Avenue West and West Blaine Street, northwesterly to West McGraw Street, produced east; of West McGraw Street from Thirty-second Avenue West, east to a connection with Carleton Way as established herein, and for the lying off, widening, extending and establishing of West Blaine Street, from a point forty (40)feet east of Twenty-eighth Avenue West to Twenty-ninth Avenue West; providing for the changing and establishing of the grades of said Carleton Way and West McGraw Street, as extended and established herein, and of West Blaine Street, from Twenty-eighth Avenue West to Twenty-ninth Avenue West; and of Twenty-ninth Avenue West from the southerly margin of said Carleton Way to Wet Blaine Street; providing for the condemnation, appropriation, taking and damaging of land and other property necessary therefor for the laying off, opening, widening, extending and establishing of the above named street and way, and for the grading and regrading of such streets, avenues and way in conformity with such established grades, and necessary for the construction of the slopes for cuts and fills upon the property abutting on said streets, avenues and way; and providing that the cost of said improvement shall be paid by special assessment upon the property specially benefited in the manner provided by law as provided in Ordinance No. 36997 of the City of Seattle, by the issuance and sale of bonds of the district to pay therefor.
