Introduced as Council Bill 20589

Title

An ordinance relating to and providing for the improvement of Pike Place, from Virginia Street to Pike Street, and Pike Street, from Pike Place to 1st Avenue, and from the alley between Western Avenue and 1st Avenue, all in the City of Seattle, by paving the same with suitable material laid upon a proper concrete foundation, together with armored concrete or granite curbing, and armored concrete or granite corners; by constructing all sewers, side sewers and watermains with such appurtenances necessary for the proper sewerage, drainage, water service and fire protection of said district; by constructing concrete sidewalks where necessary; by such grading and regrading as may be necessary; all in accordance with Resolution No. 3970, of the City Council of the City of Seattle, creating a local improving district therefor, and providing for that payment for said improvement to be made by special assessment upon property in said district payable by the mode of "Payment in Bonds."
