Introduced as Council Bill 18855

Title

An Ordinance providing for the improvement of Leary Avenue, from Market Street to Southeast line of Ione Place; and Ione Place, from 17th Avenue Northwest to Ballard Avenue, by grading and regrading; and providing that Leary Avenue from Market Street to 20th Avenue Northwest be paved with brick, permanent sidewalks and granite curbs; and providing that the remainder of said streets be improved with temporary sidewalks and planking, said planking to be 16 feet wide on Ione Place and 18 feet on Leary Avenue east of 20th Avenue, and that aforesaid pavement provide for planking in center of sufficient width to place double street railway tracks thereon, and that such other work be done as may be necessary in connection therewith, all in accordance with plans to be prepare by the City Engineer, all in accordance with Majority Petition, being File No. 48267, of the City Council of the City of Seattle, creating a local improvement district therefor, and providing that payment of said improvement be made by special assessments upon property in said district payable by mode of "Payment by Bonds".
