Title

An ordinance providing for the laying off, opening, widening, extending and establishing of Lane Street, from the east line of Syndicate Addition to the City of Seattle, to the west line of alley in block 36, and 37, Rainier Boulevard 5th Addition to the City of Seattle; providing for the condemnation, appropriation, taking and damaging of land and other property necessary therefor; providing for the establishing of curb grades of said Lane Street, as laid off, opened and extended; providing for the changing and establishing of curb grades of Lane Street from 7th Avenue South to Rainier Avenue; 8th Avenue South, 9th Avenue South, and 10th Avenue South, each from the north line of Dearborn Street to the south margin of Lane Street and approaches thereto; providing for the condemnation, appropriation, taking and damaging of land and other property necessary for the grading and regrading of said street and avenues and approaches thereto, in conformity with such established grades; and providing for the necessary slopes for cuts and fills upon the property abutting upon said street and avenues and approaches thereto; providing that the cost of said improvement shall be paid by special assessment upon the property specially benefited in the manner provided by law; and providing for the improvement of Lane Street and Lane Street produced, from 7th Avenue South to Rainier Avenue; 8th Avenue South, 9th Avenue South and 10th Avenue South, each from the north line of Dearborn Street to the south margin of Lane Street, and approaches thereto, by grading and regrading the same and providing for the necessary slopes for cuts and fills upon the property abutting upon said street avenues and approaches in accordance with the property owners' Majority Petition therefor, being Majority Petition No. 44157, of the record of the City of Seattle, in the office of the Comptroller of said city; and providing for the payment of the cost of said improvement by the mode of "Payment by Bonds", as provided by the laws of the State of Washington and the Charter and Ordinances of the City of Seattle, and repealing all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith.
