Title

An ordinance relating to and providing for the improvement of University Street, form the existing paving on 7th Avenue to the existing paving on 9th Avenue; 9th Avenue, from University Street to Union Street; and 8th Avenue, from Seneca Street to Union Street, all in the City of Seattle, by paving the same with vitrified brick laid upon a proper concrete foundation, with armored concrete or granite curbs and armored concrete or granite corners, and including as part of said work the construction or reconstruction of all sewers, side sewers and watermains, with their appurtenances necessary for the proper sewerage, drainage, water service and fire protection of said district, and by constructing concrete sidewalks and concrete stairways where necessary; provided however, that where a grade exceeds 8%, stone block pavement may be used, all in accordance with Resolution No. 2761 of the city council of the City of Seattle; and providing payment therefor by the mode of "Payment in Bonds", as provided by the laws of the State of Washington and the Charter and Ordinances of the City of Seattle.
