Title

An Ordinance providing for the improvement of Spokane Street and West Spokane Street, from Thirteenth Avenue South to Thirty-fifth Avenue Southwest; First Avenue South, from Hanford Street to Spokane Street; White Avenue, from West Spokane Street on the east to West Spokane Street on the west; Thirty-fifth Avenue Southwest produced south, from West Spokane Street to Manning Street produced east; Manning Street and Manning Street produced east, from Thirty-fifth Avenue Southwest produced south to Fortieth Avenue Southwest; Fortieth Avenue Southwest, from Manning Street to West Charlestown Street; West Charlestown Street, from Fortieth Avenue South to California Avenue, all in the City of Seattle, by constructing water mains of proper dimensions and materials, together with all gates, tees, crosses, fire hydrants, bridging, piling, channel crossings, pumps, pumping station, motors, tanks and other appurtenances, all in accordance with Resolution No. 2052 of the City Council of the City of Seattle, provided, that the abutting property is to be assessed, as benefits, an amount equal to the cost of constructing a distribution main of proper size, together with all gates, tees, crosses, fire hydrants, bridging, piling and all other appurtenances necessary to afford reasonable water service and fire protection to the said abutting property, and that the balance of the cost, only, is to be paid from the Water Fund; and providing for the payment therefor by the mode of "Payment by Bonds," as provided by the laws of the State of Washington and the Charter and Ordinances of the City of Seattle
