Title

An Ordinance providing for the improvement of East Madison Street, from Nineteenth Avenue to Twenty-ninth Avenue North, and from Washington Boulevard to the east margin of Laurel Shade Avenue, by paving the same with stone blocks and asphalt laid upon a proper concrete foundation, with concrete, brick, stone or asphalt gutters, with concrete curbs and armoured concrete and granite corners, and by the construction of all necessary water mains, tees, crosses, and other appurtenances, and the necessary sewers and side sewer connections, flush tanks, manholes, and all necessary surface drainage, asphalt shall be used for paving, from a point one hundred and forty (140) feet east of Twentieth Avenue to a point one hundred and forty (140) feet east of Twenty-second Avenue North, and from a point one hundred and twenty (120) feet east of Twenty-seventh Avenue North to Twenty-ninth Avenue North; from Washington Boulevard to Thirty-second Avenue North; from Thirty-third Avenue North to the alley east of Thirty-fourth Avenue North; from a point eighty (80) feet east of Thirty-sixth Avenue North to the east margin of Thirty-eight Avenue North; from the west margin of East Garfield Street to the east margin of Laurel Shade Avenue; all other portions of the street to be paved with stone blocks; all in the City of Seattle, in accordance with Resolution No. 1909 of the City Council of the City of Seattle, and providing for the payment therefor by the mode of "Payment by Bonds," as provided by the laws of the State of Washington and the Charter and Ordinances of the City of Seattle
