Title

An Ordinance providing for the improvement of Sixth Avenue, from Union Street to Madison Street; Fourth Avenue and Fifth Avenue, each from Seneca Street to Madison Street; Seneca Street, and Spring Street, each from Third Avenue to Seventh Avenue; and University Street, from Sixth Avenue to Seventh Avenue, all in the City of Seattle, by paving the same with vitrified brick, laid upon a proper concrete foundation, and by constructing brick gutters and granite curbs, together with concrete walks and such sewers and water mains with their appurtenances as may be necessary for the proper sewerage, drainage, water service and fire protection of said district; provided, however, that where the street grades are over three (3) per cent and less than five (5) per cent beveled vitrified brick shall be used, and further provided that where street grades exceed five (5) per cent, stone blocks shall be used, all in accordance with Resolution No. 1721 of the City Council of the City of Seattle, and providing for the payment therefor by the mode of "Payment by Bonds," as provided by the laws of the State of Washington and the Charter and Ordinances of the City of Seattle
