Title

An Ordinance granting permission to The Metropolitan Building Company, et al, a corporation, to improve Fourth Avenue, from the south line of Union Street to the center line of Seneca Street, and University Street, from Third Avenue to the alley between Fifth Avenue and Sixth Avenue, all in the City of Seattle, by paving the same with creosoted wooden blocks, vitrified beveled brick or stone blocks, laid upon proper concrete foundation, and by constructing concrete sidewalks thereon, and by the laying of sewers and watermains therein, with all appurtenances necessary for the proper drainage, sewerage, water service and fire protection of said district, all to be in accordance with plans and specifications to be prepared by the City Engineer, provided that where the grades exceed four (4) per cent, creosoted wooden blocks shall not be used, all to be at their own cost and expense.
