Title

An Ordinance providing for the improvement of Stewart Street, from the alley between Eighth Avenue and Ninth Avenue, to Eastlake Avenue; Denny Way, from the west margin of Fairview Avenue to the east margin of Eastlake Avenue and Terry Avenue, Boren Avenue and Minor Avenue, each from Virginia Street to Stewart Street, all in the City of Seattle, by paving the same with asphalt or brick laid upon a proper concrete foundation, constructing concrete curbs with granite corners, the construction, alteration or extension of concrete walks, and including as a part of said work, all necessary grading and regrading; the construction, alteration or extension of all sewers and water mains their appurtenances necessary for the proper drainage, sewerage water service and fire protection of said district; provided, however, that a strip eighteen (18) feet wide in the center of Stewart Street, from the alley between Eighth Avenue and Ninth Avenue, to Eastlake Avenue, be planked instead of paved, all in accordance with Resolution No. 1649 of the City Council of the City of Seattle, and providing for the payment therefor by the mode of "Payment by Bonds," as provided by the laws of the State of Washington and the Charter and Ordinances of the City of Seattle
