Title

An Ordinance providing for the improvement of Minor Avenue North and Pontius Avenue, each from Denny Way to Mercer Street; Fairview Avenue, from Denny Way to the north line of Mercer Street; John Street, Thomas Street, Harrison Street, Republican Street and Mercer Street, each from Fairview Avenue to Eastlake Avenue, all in the City of Seattle, by paving the same with asphalt laid upon a proper concrete foundation, and by constructing brick gutters, concrete curbs with granite or armoured concrete corners, and including as a part of said work all necessary grading and regrading, the construction, alteration or extension of concrete sidewalks and of sewers and water mains with their necessary appurtenances for the proper drainage, sewerage, water service and fire protection of said district; provided, however, that when the grade exceed eight (8) per cent the pavement may be of sandstone blocks laid upon a proper concrete foundation; all in accordance with Resolution No. 1415 of the City Council of the City of Seattle, and providing for the payment therefor by the mode of "Payment by Bonds," as provided by the laws of the State of Washington and the Charter and Ordinances of the City of Seattle
