Title

An ordinance relating to and providing for the improvement of 8th Avenue from Pike Street to the north line of Howell Street; 9th Avenue from the south line of Pine Street to the north line of Howell Street; Pine Street and Olive Street; each from the alley between 7th Avenue and 8th Avenue to 9th Avenue; Howell Street, from 8th Avenue to Terry Avenue, all in the City of Seattle, by paving the same with vitrified brick laid upon a proper concrete foundation, constructing concrete curbs and concrete walks and including as a part of said work the construction, alteration, or extension of all sewers and water mains, with their appurtenances necessary for the proper drainage, sewerage, water service and fire protection of said district, provided, however, that a strip 18 feet wide, in the center of Pine Street from the alley between 7th and 8th Avenues to 9th Avenue, be planked instead of paved, all in accordance with Resolution No. 1313 of the city council of the City of Seattle; and providing payment therefor by the mode of "Payment in Bonds", as provided by the laws of the State of Washington and the Charter and Ordinances of the City of Seattle.
