Title

An ordinance providing for the laying off, opening, widening, extending and establishing of Western Avenue in the City of Seattle as a public street and highway, over and across certain lots, blocks, tracts and parcels of land in said city; and providing for the changing and establishing of the grades of Western Avenue, from the north margin of Seneca Street to the south margin of Denny Way; and Pike Place and Western Avenue, form the north margin of Pike Street as widened, to the south margin of Virginia Street; and providing for the taking and damaging of land and other property necessary in the laying off, widening, extending, altering and establishing of said Western Avenue and Pike Place, and of the approaches to said streets and avenues, in conformity with such established grades, and in the construction of necessary slopes for cuts and fills upon the real property abutting on said streets and avenues, and approaches thereto, and providing for the ascertainment and payment of the just compensation to be made for the property and property rights taken or damaged for such purposes, and for the assessment upon the property benefited for the purpose of making such compensation and paying the cost of such proceedings and repealing all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith.
