Title

An Ordinance providing for the laying off, opening, widening, extending and establishing of First Avenue South, in the City of Seattle, from the north line of Lot six (6), Section Seventeen (17) and Lot one (1), Section Eighteen (18), Township Twenty-four (24) North, Range four (4), East W. M., to the north line of Junction Street, as a public streets and highway, over and across certain lots, blocks, tracts and parcels of land, and establishing the grade for the overhead bridge or First Avenue South, as provided for in this Ordinance, from a point Seven Hundred (700) feet south of Spokane Avenue to the north line of Junction Street, and providing for the taking and damaging of all lands and other property necessary for the laying off, widening, extending and establishing of said First Avenue South, and necessary for the grading of First Avenue South and the construction of said overhead Bridge and of the approaches thereto, in conformity with such established grades, and for the construction of the necessary slopes and retaining walls for cuts and fills upon the property abutting upon said street and approaches thereto, and providing for the ascertainment and payment of the just compensation to be made for the property and property rights taken or damaged for said purposes and for an assessment upon the property benefited for the purpose of making such compensation.
