Title

An ordinance providing for the laying off, opening, widening, extending and establishing of a public street and highway to be known as "Magnolia Way" extending from the intersection of 2nd Avenue and Denny Way to an intersection with the center line of Elliott Avenue at the east margin of 5th Avenue West produced south; and of 1st Avenue from the intersection of 1st Avenue and Denny Way to an intersection with the center line of said proposed Magnolia Way at its intersection with the center line of 1st Avenue West; all in the City of Seattle, as public streets and highways, over and across certain lots, blocks, tracts and parcels of land in said City, and for the establishment of the grades upon said proposed streets, and for the changing and establishing of the grades upon the following named streets and avenues, to-wit: Denny Way from 3rd Avenue North to Queen Anne Avenue; West John Street and John Street, from Elliott Avenue to 2nd Avenue North, West Thomas Street and Thomas Street, from Elliott Avenue to 1st Avenue North; West Harrison Street from Elliott Avenue to 2nd Avenue West; 2nd Avenue and 2nd Avenue North, from Broad Street to John Street, Warren Avenue from Denny Way to Thomas Street; 1st Avenue North, from Denny Way to Thomas Street; Queen Anne Avenue from Denny Way to Harrison Street; 2nd Avenue West from Elliott Avenue to West Harrison Street; 3rd Avenue West, from Elliott Avenue to West Republican Street; 4th Avenue West, from Elliott Avenue to West Republican Street; Elliott Avenue from West Denny Way to Beach Drive; and providing for the changing and establishing of the grades of the alleys in the several blocks bounded by the above named streets and avenues or any of them, and providing for the laying off, opening, extending and establishing of said proposed Magnolia Way, and said First Avenue, and for the grading and re-grading of said West Denny Way, West John Street and John Street, West Thomas Street and Thomas Street, West Harrison Street, 2nd Avenue and 2nd Avenue North, Warren Avenue, 1st Avenue North, Queen Anne Avenue, 1st Avenue West, 2nd Avenue West, 3rd Avenue West, 4th Avenue West, and Elliott Avenue; and of the alleys in the several blocks bounded by the several streets and of the approaches to said streets, avenues, and alleys in conformity with such established grades, and for the construction of the necessary slopes and retaining walls upon the real property abutting upon said streets, avenues and alleys, and approaches thereto, and providing for the ascertainment and payment of the just compensation to be made for the property and property rights taken or damaged for said purposes, and for an assessment upon the property benefited for such purposes and for an assessment upon the property benefited for the purpose of making such compensation and paying the cost of such proceedings and repealing all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith.
