Introduced as Council Bill 1707

Title

An ordinance relating to and providing for the improvement of 11th Avenue, from Yesler Way to East Spring Street; 10th Avenue, from Yesler Way to East Madison Street; East Fir Street, East Spruce Street, East Alder Street, East Terrace Street, East James Street, East Cherry Street, East Columbia Street, and East Marion Street, each from Broadway to 11th Avenue; and East Spring Street, from 10th Avenue to 11th Avenue, all in the City of Seattle by paving the same with asphalt laid upon a proper concrete foundation, excepting all streets the grades of which are 12% or more, which shall be paved with sandstone blocks, laid upon a proper concrete foundation; and by constructing brick gutters, concrete curbs with granite corners, together with all necessary sewers and water mains, with appurtenances necessary, all in accordance with Resolution No. 302 of the city council of the City of Seattle; and providing payment therefor by the mode of "Payment in Bonds", as provided by the laws of the State of Washington and the Charter and Ordinances of the City of Seattle.
