An Ordinance providing for the improvement of East Jefferson Street, from Broadway to Twenty-first Avenue; Fifteenth, Sixteenth, Seventeenth and Eighteenth Avenue, each from Yesler Way to East Columbia Street; Nineteenth Avenue, from Yesler Way to east
Madison Street; East Fir Street, East Spruce Street, East Alder Street and East Cherry Street, each from Fifteenth Avenue to Twentieth Avenue; East Marion Street, from Eighteenth Avenue to Twentieth Avenue; East Spring Street, from Eighteenth Avenue to
Nineteenth Avenue; East Union Street, from Eighteenth Avenue to Twentieth Avenue; East Pike Street, from Eighteenth Avenue to Nineteenth Avenue, and East Pine Street, from Eighteenth Avenue to Twentieth Avenue, all in the City of Seattle, by grading and
sub-grading the same, and by paving the same with asphalt laid upon a proper concrete foundation, except, however, that East Jefferson Street, from Broadway to Twelfth Avenue and from Fourteenth Avenue to Seventeenth Avenue, and from Nineteenth Avenue
to Twenty-first Avenue; and East Union Street, from Eighteenth Avenue to Twentieth Avenue, shall be paved with sandstone blocks laid upon a proper concrete foundation, and by constructing brick gutters with concrete curb and granite corners, in
accordance with Resolution No. 275 of the City Council of the City of Seattle, and providing for the payment therefor by the mode of "Payment by Bonds," as provided by an act of the Legislature of the State of Washington, entitled "An act authorizing
the issuance and sale of bonds by cities, to pay for local improvements, providing for the payment thereof, and declaring an emergency," approved March 14, 1899, and Ordinance No. 5693 of said city, approved December 6, 1899.
