Title

An Ordinance repealing Ordinance No. 5423, entitled "An Ordinance providing for the improvement of East John Street, in the City of Seattle, from North Broadway to the East line of the Nagle Donation Claim, by grading, sidewalking and parking said street in the following manner, to-wit: Sidewalking to be eight (8) feet wide along both margins, with parkways four (4) feet wide between sidewalks and roadway, and providing for the payment therefor for in installments and establishing a fund for such payment by the levying and collection of special assessments upon the property benefited by the improvement, and providing for the issuance of bonds as authorized by an act of the Legislature of the State of Washington, entitled, "An act relating to the internal improvements in cities, authorizing the issuance and collection of bonds upon the property benefited by local improvements, and declaring an emergency," approved March 9th, 1893, and under the provisions of Ordinance No. 3349, approved May 7th, 1894, as amended by Ordinance No. 3440, approved July 11th, 1894, and Ordinance No. 4492, approved March 5th, 1897, and the City Charter as now in force."
