Title

An Ordinance changing and establishing the grades of Olive Street, from the alley between Ninth Avenue and Terry Avenue to Melrose Avenue; Howell Street, from Terry Avenue to the alley east of Howard Avenue; Stewart Street from the alley between Eighth Avenue and Ninth Avenue to Boren Avenue; Lenora Street, from Eighth Avenue to Denny Way; Ninth Avenue, from Westlake Avenue to Howell Street; Terry Avenue, from Denny Way to Pine Street; Boren Avenue, from Stewart Street to Pine Street; Minor Avenue, from Stewart Street to Pine Street, and Howard Avenue from Stewart Street to Melrose Avenue; and of the alleys in the several blocks bounded by the above named streets and avenues, or any of them, and providing for the taking and damaging of the land and other property necessary in the grading and regrading of said streets, avenues, alleys and approaches thereto, in conformity with such established grades, and in the construction of the necessary slopes and retaining walls for cuts and fills upon the real property abutting on said streets, avenues, alleys and approaches thereto, and providing for the ascertainment and payment of just compensation to be made for property and property rights taken or damaged for such purposes; and for an assessment upon the property benefited, for the purpose of making such compensation and paying the costs of such proceedings, and repealing all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith.
