AN ORDINANCE authorizing, in 2010, acceptance of funding from non-City sources; authorizing the heads of the Department of Information Technology, Department of Neighborhoods, Department of Parks and Recreation, Department of Finance and Administrative
Services, the Human Services Department, the Office of Economic Development, the Office of Intergovernmental Relations, the Office of Sustainability and Environment, the Office of the Mayor, Seattle Center, Seattle Department of Transportation, the
Seattle Fire Department, the Office for Civil Rights, the Seattle Police Department, the Seattle Public Library, and Seattle Public Utilities to accept specified grants and private funding and to execute, deliver, and perform corresponding agreements;
and ratifying and confirming certain prior acts.
Section 1. The Chief Technology Officer, the Director of the Department of Neighborhoods, the Superintendent of the Department of Parks and Recreation, the Director of Finance and Administrative Services, the Director of Human Services, the Director of
Economic Development, the Director of the Office of Intergovernmental Relations, the Director of the Office of Sustainability and Environment, the Mayor on behalf of the Mayor's Office, the Director of Seattle Center, the Director of Transportation, the
Fire Chief, the Director of the Office for Civil Rights, the Chief of Police, the City Librarian, and the Director of Seattle Public Utilities are authorized to accept the following non-City funding from the grantors listed below, and to execute,
deliver, and perform on behalf of the City of Seattle, agreements for the purposes described below. The funds, when received, shall be deposited in the receiving fund identified below to support, or as reimbursement for, the corresponding appropriations
set forth in the ordinance introduced as C.B. 117071.

Section: 2. The Director of the Seattle Public Utilities is authorized to accept the following non-City funding from the grantors listed below, and to execute, deliver, and perform on behalf of the City of Seattle, agreements for
the purposes described below.
Section: 3. Any act pursuant to the authority of this ordinance taken after the passage of this ordinance is hereby ratified and confirmed. If any provision of this ordinance is determined to be invalid or unenforceable the
remainder shall nonetheless remain in full force and effect.
Section: 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force 30 days from and after its approval by the Mayor, but if not approved and returned by the Mayor within ten days after presentation, it shall take effect as provided by Seattle Municipal Code
Section 1.04.020.
