WHEREAS, Council Bills, Resolutions, and Clerk Files are introduced and referred to various City Council committees throughout the year for sponsorship and action; and
WHEREAS, between 2006 and March 2012, a number of Council Bills, Resolutions, and Clerk Files were introduced but were never acted upon by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, Section XI(D) of the General Rules and Procedures of the City Council allows the City Council to consider the retirement of any Council Bill, Resolution, or Clerk File which has been in a standing committee or before the City Council for at
least one year; and
WHEREAS, the Council Bills, Resolutions, and Clerk Files on the attached list have been in a committee or before the City Council for at least one year; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEATTLE, THAT:
The Council Bills, Resolutions, and Clerk Files, listed on Attachment A, are retired and removed from consideration by the City Council or the assigned committee.
